So the Bears get screwed in all of this because the Falcons decided to create a position out of thin air less than a month ago and gave it to a guy with no front office experience. He's even said he won't be managing personnel. 

What's to stop the Bears from creating random positions above the general manager, promoting Poles to it, and then poaching some assistant GM from the Packers or Lions to be the new GM? It would technically be a promotion and we wouldn't be giving our rivals any picks. It's a terrible loop hole and a bad precedent to set. It totally goes against the spirit of the rule in the first place.

There was a pregame gag this season on Fox where Jefferson dressed weird and put a wig on like he was a photographer for a fake photo shoot for Kwesi, and was asking him all kinds of goofy questions and it took him an awful long time to recognize it was Justin.  I felt like that was strange when I saw it, like how do you not recognize your star player?  His face wasn’t covered and he wasn’t changing his voice lol

I am shocked a team is giving him a chance this early and I like Doyle. Think he's gonna be a damn good head coach down the road but this is early. That's tough for Ben Johnson.

Think about this, Doyle told the Eagles “no thanks, I’m staying with the Bears” and then accepted the job with the Ravens.  The eagles were SB champs 2 years ago and it’s largely the same team.  I wonder if Sirianni gave him bad vibes or something

I don't think that place has the right culture where you'd want to go. Minter is a really bright young mind and Doyle is going to get to do his thing and has an all pro QB.  If he does well - he'll be a head coach in 3 years (if he wants it).  I think BJ doesn't stand in the way - will be interesting to see where he goes and I wish Doyle best of luck.
