What?

I'm talking guys like Romy Gonzalez and Luis Gonzalez a few years ago in SF....Alex Call would be another in WASH.

Obviously the core of the rebuild has been covered to death.

But even Moncada is doing well (when healthy) with the Angels this season.

Burger was fine last year in MIA but is dealing with all kinds of family (child's illness) issues this year.

Sheets has consistently been one of the best hitters on the Padres this year and has been above an 800 OPS for the cumulative season so far.

So like, three and a half players out of how many?

Well, it's also an indictment of Getz that entire draft classes (see Zach Collins/Burdi) are already entirely out of baseball at this point.

The White Sox just haven't been productive at development in the last decade other than IDENTIFYING Tatis Semien Chris Bassitt etc.   The pitching side has been more or less fine, given what little resources they've been provided to work with.

Other teams are far better at identifying the future value those players may or may not possess.

I think they should if both Teel and Quero are in the lineup every day at C or DH.

I don’t think either guy will slug enough to deserve a ton of DH at bats

Quero has what, 20 singles and 3 doubles so far?

That's more what we expected from Meidroth...
