For this year though when they are ready to call up Teel?

Gun to head, they end up dealing one of them.

Having Teel AND Quero was supposed to provide "surplus value" at that position.

So you're now going to turn around and trade them for....an outfielder or high leverage reliever?

Teel's been hitting "decently" but he SHOULD be much closer to a 900 OPS playing half his games in CHLT.

Quero, for his part, has always looked closer to Omar Narvaez than a legit All-Star, but we'll just have to wait and see on the power part of his game.   At least he didn't get overwhelmed right away in the big leagues.

After 48 games, this team has the exact same record (14-34) as last year’s record setting team. They ARE that bad.

  • I never expected Luis Robert to turn into Billy Hamilton, but here we are.

Who had Martin, Cannon and Shane Smith being the core strength of the team at this point in the season, lol?

Quero has what, 20 singles and 3 doubles so far?

That's more what we expected from Meidroth...

He s 22 and a smart hitter.He won't be slappy for long.

I’m not saying I would do it but just a gut feeling. Idk maybe classic GM thinking of “I didn’t draft or trade for this guy so I have no loyalty to him and would rather move him for another piece(s) that fits better for the roster” (ie: Quero)

.162 .406   Even as a NON Lenyn fan, not seeing the value of playing Rojas over him unless they're ready to give up on Sosa.

so many 1st pitch outs

So you think there’s 0 chance they have both Teel and Quero on the roster and play them both regularly? Hard disagree there.

Castillo gonna get a CG tonight.

I think they will make for a quality platoon

Nah pass. It’s not like we have a great DH or something. Play them both at C and DH this year.

Sox have definitely had good pitches to hit.

No...I didn't say that, either.

Getz is not going to (be allowed to) spend, so he's going to have to shoehorn Quero and Teel into C 1B DH in order to save money.

I will take having quality at one position.  Last two years have taught me not to take that for granted.

oh poor vaughn, give me a break.

Yeah that was bullshit

Ha f*** this league

Even New York is screwing Vaughn at this point

Glad to see Venable giving Davis this inning. It's not like you've got great options in the bullpen, so let's see if Davis can keep going with the low pitch count.

They hate us

NY absolutely hates Sox on replays. Sox got to be at top of calls against.

The NFL would've overturned it 😋

What happened to the season ticket holder near the crowd mic who always says "Check your voicemail blue, you missed a call." haven't heard him in a while

Now booser ain't even close... And why have replay when NY is gonna be incompetent

Dude cant throw strikes

I  posted thought the starting pitching had a chance to be a strength when a lot of people were worried that losing  Crochet and Fedde was a sure "they will be worse than last year"  verdict.
