May 24, 2025May 24 Honestly, this would be the best time for him to go down with a long term injury. This team is dead for the next few seasons. Hopefully he's absolutely fine.

May 24, 2025May 24 Still very concerning. We have already seen several nothing to see here moments only to ultimately turn into major surgery. His velo is dipping and his elbow hurts. Something is wrong.

What I don’t understand is if they think his mechanics are the issue, since he already had TJS in high school, why would they let it get to this point before they tried to do something about them?

May 24, 2025May 24 from what i've seen from past stories like this, MRI isn't the end all be all i would bet there's a 75% chance he needs TJS again before he pitches his first big league game Edited May 24, 2025May 24 by joejoesox

Unless there is a physical therapist that can contradict my paranoia.

Kopech was arguably the biggest blow to the rebuild when he went down...Dunning at least allowed them to trade for Lynn, who was good for about as long as Grandal before imploding.

They talk like they already knew what his issue was, and we are still dealing with whatever inflammation this is causing

Crochet was always a violent delivery guy iirc. The shoulder goes before the elbow usually. And it did. He is also on the list

That's why he needed to go to Arizona for biomechanics work. They didn't have an issue with delivery otherwise

I can’t believe that elbow soreness is not at least a partial impetus for the biomechanics work without a timeline to work with. A pitcher flying open with a delivery is usually a team’s pitching coach’s job to fix Edited May 27, 2025May 27 by Chick Mercedes

Soreness was definitely a concern but he's fine
