Interesting the one name out of all of them that AJ threw out there was Lance Lynn.  Obviously he doesn't fit the specific story, but his name came up before.

Lynn is friends of their show, which is why they brought him up. He has also been vocal about the White Sox charade with AJ.

Going from Renteria, for whom it seemed like players would run through a wall, to drunken baseball corpse who napped in the dugout probably throws a monkey wrench in the whole accountability and professionalism part.

Rick knew how to get respect from players, even if he was a mental wreck in the playoffs.

Harold blaming Hahn when he damn well knows the day to day accountability is driven by coaching and the Sox hiring LaRussa to sleep in the dugout removed any accountability from the players.

And Rick didn't have a say in hiring Tony, very obviously.

I would put a $1000 dollars on you being correct.

AJP’s Brian Anderson threat story was just as embarrassing.  WTF is wrong with this org?

Habitual losing.  You create players that say "you need me".  There are no we have guys in the minors that could replace you/

I feel like the player that threatened Pedro after not hustling was Grandal, and the player laying on the ground was Moncada

That would have never worked with Pinella or Martin.  Lou would've tried to settle it right then. Then again he couldn't manage the prima donnas on the Cubs either.

So it never would have happened with Lou except the time it definitely happened with Lou.  Got it

In a case like this, you need a front office who backs you up and gives a consequence to the offending player.  Suspension, send down etc.  But if you have half of the front office going one way, and the other half plotting a coup, meanwhile Jerry figuring out how to install his buddy in a power position, well you have seen how that works out.

Your obsession with him is weird.

I mean he can stand on business. Fans don't like to be talked down to especially the knowledgeable ones here. As I said last week, I'm personally done trying to interact with him, but he can articulate why he thinks what he does at any time. He has chosen to remain in some gray zone as an obvious Sox employee but also a fan posting here.

He is the only person that consistently has inside info. Nobody else here knew haber was fired weeks before it was announced publicly. Im grateful for the tips we get from a sox employee.

As Chris Getz’s personal fluffer

I can't remember how bad Clint Frazier was in 2023 but I am thinking pretty bad. But the fact that he can laugh about that year and that he proudly wears his Sox hat puts an extra .100 on whatever his avg was in my mind.

And yes, I would bet the house that the guy that didn't hustle, blamed it on not knowing where the ball was and then threatened the manager was Grandal 1000%.

You have an odd way of showing appreciation.

Feelings on Getz aside, it's nice to get tidbits of inside information on the org, trades. and the farm/draft.

Exactly...incompetent, dysfunctional and inept from top to bottom.

Especially if it was Grandal because he sucked. He could have been released without hurting the team much.

Harold gives me a first hand glance into the incompetence of the white sox with his takes and opinions and im grateful for that. No one hates quants in baseball more than Harold.

Clint "Imelda Marcos" Frazier. That's a lotta shoes. Anyway, pretty funny and thoughtfully put by him. the first post-Sock s%*# talker that talked his s%*# the correct way. Grifool and his staff clearly commanded no respect and a lot of those players were, in aggregate, very toxic. Very disrespectful to just be on your phone when somebody is talking to you, to not know your coach's name, to evidently threaten the manager...but why weren't there any consequences? I suspect Rick Hahn is a giant wimp.

This year's team is hard to watch but much more likable all around, even more so now that Vaughn and Colas are gone (if only the same was true of Clev). The coaching staff seems competent, or at least they don't appear to be staving off a mutiny

I'd agree with this.
