Why?  Dude’s numbers are falling almost as fast as Vargas’s.

He’s a solid pro…on this team that’s impressive.  Wouldn’t shock me if he’s traded and then brought back next year.

Haha, closed captioning has Pages as “pothead”

The Sox really need to stop giving at bats to old vets that will return more prospects like Trey McGough.  It’s just not worth it.  Perhaps when they are actually a .500+ team.

Not a strike, but can’t keep falling behind 0-2

This I totally agree with, but Getz is clueless

 Still a weak farm

Just. Keep. Him. In. The. Lineup

Good for Baldwin.

Just saw the homer, great to see.  Play him every day

Maybe he will hit 15 Hrs next year.

Pull the ball!

Would anyone believe the Sox are tied for the second best record in the division since June 1?

  • Tigers: 16-13
  • White Sox: 10-19
  • Royals: 10-19
  • Twins: 10-20
  • Guardians: 9-19

The Guards offense has been worse than ours by a meaningful margin (95 runs vs. 76 runs scored) in that span. Royals have Witt and Garcia but not too much else in the lineup. Sox, Royals, Guards all starved for power.

There was a moment there were it seemed multiple ALC teams would be in WC contention, but everyone other than Detroit has a negative record, pythag, and run diff for the season.

Predictably we get swept. Since our division now stinks it makes the tank lovers look dumb compared to those of us who wanted to keep the team strong the traditional way. We can't even contend now when the division reeks. Keep on tanking, baby. It works so well.

He's an OK player but nobody we should 'miss.'

Listening to some of the Dodgers highlights it seems we were just what the doctor ordered for some of their players who were 'frustrated' and slumping before clobbering our Sox. Sox helped turn St. Looie's season around this year. The poor Royals have stopped dominating our Sox thus their playoff hopes are wretched.

How the hell is Chris Flexen dominating as a reliever for the Cubs?

He got away from an incompetent, dysfunctional and inept organization.

Mentally that has got to be a huge boost to a pro athlete.

LOL, I just looked at Flexen’s stats with the Cubs this year versus the Sox last year.  🤣

I'm more shocked at the Tigers record with 3 over .500
