I wouldn't mind giving Houser a 2 year deal if we didn't have so many you guys expected to come up next year.  He is really good.  Could be a real innings eater to save the young guys and.  Should get a decent return if he keeps it up.  Maybe someone pulls the trigger this week a few weeks early.

First Sox game I have watched start to finish in a long time. I really hope Montgomery can hit consistently because a combo of him and Meidroth could be special. I love Quero and Teel. They say Champi

Houser has been amazing. Might be our best trade chip now.

Easily.

I’d 100% trade him.  Lots of guys coming back next year that will need a shot and I’d rather just cash in on Houser right now while he has some value.

That DP was smooth as f***.

Sweet DP ! Rack 'em up !!

Agreed, he’ll be 33 years old next year and I would not bet on the odds that he is really this good next season.  Sell him high since Robert screwed over our trade value stock.  Like you said, rinse and repeat next offseason with guys that the Sox / Bannister like.  They can’t identify good hitters to save their lives but they obviously can identify good pitchers that may need a tweak.

He could be setting himself up for a nice payday if he can finish the year with close to a 3 ERA and a couple nice playoff starts.

Could be the try to get Colson to swing at crap AB with 1st open.

Ha let it rip on 3-0

Good eye

Good at bat by Montgomery.

3 very mediocre sliders and Taylor is gone.

i actually think we will get something decent back for Houser

Let’s keep Houser, don’t trade him.   He’s looking really good!!!

Hopefully a lower payroll team competing for the postseason that needs a cheap option is willing to pay in prospect(s) rather than money.

My mom has been checked out this year, just learned who Houser is and goes "so we're probably going to trade him!"

I had to explain that yes, they would, and that it would also be the correct move.

Houser having a Maddux like game

How did the league let us get Houser for free lol

As if GMs not named Chris Getz would be blind to this?

The guy is on a one-year deal and will be 33 years old next season.  This would be the very definition of “selling high” and anyone that disagrees must instead be high on meth.

My fiance says the same thing. I try to explain why we need to.  She keeps saying we trade everyone who is remotely good.
