nrockway
No precipitation to speak of 3 miles away but the radar suggests it's going to open up any time now. If they're delaying this game already, hard to think they'll actually play it.

Sodfather says it will rain hard then pass in about an hour so they probably just want to have the field ready ASAP rather than let it get wet then stop and start. I think we're in for a pretty good storm.

He's had 208 plate appearances against us, more than he has against any other team, and his OPS in those games is .979, 20 doubles, 9 homers, .347/ .388/ .591. Pretty nuts. Think it's funny that Cleveland swapped out Naylor for Santana, they're both paid the same amount, meanwhile Naylor is at 127 OPS+ in AZ and grandpa Santana is at 91. I think Cleveland could use the bat. Santana seems like a nice guy and Naylor seems like just somebody, but I think if you're paying a first baseman/DH that much money, you probably prefer he could hit rather than give a good peptalk.

It's a Jerry Special because they know that they're already on the hook for a couple of hours (workers only get paid for hours worked - not expected shift). So might as well milk the cow.

Wdym by arrived, I thought it was on the premium tier this whole time. So, why is the game rescheduled to 2pm instead of the usual 1pm. Is the transition between games always smooth. at a recent NY crosstown split DH, the first game was delayed and went into extras, so then when it was time to start game 2, fans from the 1st game weren't all corralled out of there yet, so it became a whole disaster. They had to delay game 2 IIRC because of the fan jam. Total mess. I take it if any fans from game 1 are bold enough to stay in the park until game 2, security will just let them. Has anyone ever tried this. Would like to know what it's like to loiter in there that long What was the yacht rock promotion about, I love that genre. Were they gonna play songs between innings. Did they play YR music during the rain delay. Can last night's tickets be redeemed for another game, or do clubs not do that anymore once a rescheduled date is set. Ugh, with this daytime reschedule, it looks like our day games this year still outnumber our night games. This season might have the latest date where night games finally outnumber day, since olden days. What was the Rain Delay Theatre last night. Was it Top Prospects again, or the WS Podcast. I've never seen so many semis piled up on the sides of the interstate. That stretch in general is truck central you add weather lookout.

Dude, everyone south of Champaign has no fucking idea how to drive in snow or ice lmao. It’s like they all took a driving class that told them to floor it when on an ice patch
