I did a bit of a memory dump...was it Beckham who wrote the slur in the dirt to Getz or was it the other way around? That was strange. Beckham was so weird about it. It was a funny bit, I mean it was a giant hot dog, that Beckham made awkward for no reason. Schriff set him up perfectly to say something funny and he blew it and looked like a backward buffoon. Like c'mon dude, it's not that serious. Your "manhood" or whatever wasn't in doubt, it's just a silly bit. I think now it is. I like that Schriff kept pressing him lol. I can't help but think about "disgusting" Benetti whenever they bring food into the booth. I'm pretty sure Schriffen was eating it and the broadcast just cut away. Every other team brings food into the booth and they eat it, what is wrong with Brooks Boyer? Is he me? I don't like watching people eat either but I understand that's idiosyncratic and that nobody else cares.

I would’ve said something to him but I didn’t realize it was him until I’d passed him. I actually lingered around the corner while I waited for an Uber, if he doubled back (in the direction of the ballpark), I was planning to jump out at him and make cat noises and yell LA PANTERA!!! Everyone is grateful he didn’t turn around before my ride got there. Dude is really tall btw, like 6’6 probably.

I don't know how many games Schiffren has missed, but I'm guessing fewer than 10. It’s a bonus when Schriffen misses games. 🤣 1 1

I know I like the broadcast better. McKnight might not be the greatest but at least he gives the audience some credit for having a clue as to what is going on. It's been several times. I also like how he calls a pop up to the SS a flly ball. Technically I guess it is, but nobody refers to it that way in professional baseball except him.

Pathetic product with the only highlights the past few years the play of Colson and Robert maybe his first year. The staff of so many great names (Mark, Hoyt, Bobby, Peters, Horlen, Wilhelm, Sale, Wood, Garland, Pierce, Lyons, Walsh, Faber, Thiggy, McDowell, Cease de resistance, need I go on?) turns to a staff where I can't name one starter (I forget the name of the flamethrower who has looked good at times). ... And finally if u do watch a game, u have to suffer with poor Schiff and Gordo (don't like his accent sadly; love Stoney) or Stoney. Ah for the days of the aforementioned pitchers and Harry. Our team certainly has been at its low ebb with Schiff at the mike. I know $$ rules all but how can Stoney keep signing to broadcast this wretched club. Finally not to be a jerk part two, but it is funny how the Cub had a good record this season but stunk in the postseason. At least the one year the Sox reached the WS Oz and the boys completed the deal. Can u imagine if we had lost to the Stros in 05?? We'd be in quite a drought. How many times are you going to talk about how people can remain Sox fans and talk about stopping being a fan? if you want to stop, then stop. Nobody is in your way. If it’s too hard to pay attention when they suck, then keep it moving. It’s not hard, others have done it.
