By this time last year I had stopped watching completely.  Now I can't miss a game.  Wouldn't it be something to rattle off like 10 in a row.  It would be the most improvement win streak in baseball history

Id love them to ride 6 in a row into the cubs series and take them down a peg or two.

Fortunately just A's Pirates Nats to contend with for worst record with Rockies locked out this year...and A's can't get Top 6 pick three consecutive years from what it seems.

Kind of opposite of last season...this year Pythagorean has them underperforming by six full games, should theoretically be 42-59.

Angels, Orioles +5

Blue Jays +6

Rays -5

Braves, Yankees, Rangers, White Sox -6

Best team in baseball!

It's crazy how well they are playing.  Maybe coming out of the break against a bad Pirates team was what they needed.  I expected them to fall flat in Tampa, but they looked just as good as they did in Pittsburgh.  Obviously this level of play won't last, and there will likely be more losses than wins going forward (especially after the trade deadline), but it's nice to see the young guys playing well.  It's stretches like this that allow you to squint and almost see a bright future.

As you know it's all about talent and Sox currently have five good regular lineup players compared to what, one last season? I do think our manager must be good because I'm still vastly unimpressed with the pitching staff. He's doing a good job with five or six pitchers a game. Now that Robert is raking that will be a bit of buzzkill if he's traded soon.
