Only if teams are willing to pay the price of an ace:  Crochet minimum, and that really isn’t enough.

This org. struggles enough with finding talent; hopefully they won’t devalue the talent they do find by accepting a reliever’s price for ace talent.

The Sox probably should trade him if they see him as a reliever….but for an ace’s price.

Only ways it makes sense is if 1) the organization doesn't believe he is a starter in the long-run and 2) another team offers you an absolute haul (they would not right now without much of a track record) that you have to say yes

Yep, this right here.  And I am sure teams are thinking maybe they get discount on an unproven guy, but it should be the opposite for the Sox.  Unless someone is willing to overpay, keep him.  You got six more years.
