The fact we have a chance to match our 2024 win total on August 1st is absolutely insane. I think last years team took 5 years off my life

26 ABs without a K for Sosa, second longest active streak after Arraez I believe

I know what that is. LOL. We watched a season of that garbage "Duster" based on that series.

Ryan Fuller needs written apologies.

I'm also done with Lenny hate

He cant field for a lick but he can hit the s%*# out of a baseball

The Sosa defensive miscue ➡️ RBI hit cycle repeats once again

Sosa has been on fire !!

I was watching the Phils game earlier and Edmundo Sosa walks out to this, so there's really no reason for the Chicago Sosa not to.

Okay, the 1st can be Shane Smith's rebab start, and this is the real start.

There are very many reasons  for someone to not walk out to that song in Chicago. non baseball or sammy

It's almost a crime he doesn't. Though Lenyn doesn't quite seem the drill type to me.

It's not an ideal fit, but let's just have Lenyn try on an outfield glove to see how it goes

Oh man. That could be fun bad.

Okay, Shane just doesn't GAF. Load 'em every inning and ride, MFers!!!

He's not a strong runner but I honestly find it plausible that he could do competently out there. He has good hands and his arm should be fine even if he's more of a short-armer in the infield. Of course not everyone feels comfortable navigating the walls and such. Not as many opportunities to do something stupid out there either.

Just as an aside because Smith quasi-imploding is boring, who was another Sox player you can think of that used to blow up like this 0ccasionally while still being solid? I'm thinking Jason Bere

f*** it. Now's the time. He can't be worse than Vaughn out there right?

The wide zone is actually hurting Smith somehow. He keeps nailing that "generous" outside corner to righties, but it hasn't been consistently generous and he won't get the benefit of the doubt with how wild he's been overall.

I mean we threw Vaughn and Eloy out there. Sosa would run laps around them in LF.
