I feel for him because he clearly hasn't been right since the ST injury, but it is what it is. Lots of room for improvement. 22-25 year old catchers get better defensively as long as they have decent physical tools all the time. And both guys do imo. Quero isn't a big guy but he's got a quick release. Teel just looks like a pretty good all around athlete. So if they work at it, no rush to move either guy. This one is different in that a pitcher wasn't responsible, it was fundamentals (which the Sox wouldn't know about if it bit them on the ass.) "Little things" like fielding win and lose games as well as situational hitting, Sox 1-17 in the game RISP. Pathetic.
