Sucks the offense has completely disappeared again the last week, as it was making games more entertaining.  Bigger problem is they’re actually using lineups with 6-7 interesting players.

He hits lefties though…

Oh yea, $20M next season for a weak side platoon player. Great

Yeah, minus Teel and Baldwin...nobody misses Benintendi.

I blame @caulfield12 for the duplicate game thread bad juju. (not really its just me coping)

Yeah I think .500 isn’t happening.   What a shitty team.

If we had more Bananas, we might have an enjoyable team.  🤣

Not even fucking close.  Only a delusional person would ever make such a comment.

I hate the Royals. Royally.

It's a Chicago thing

Just saw the Vargas baserunning gaffe again.  What a boner.

White Sox fundamentals LOL 🤡

20th game this year the Sox held an opponent to three runs or less and loss.

Pitching is giving them a chance in these games but the offense in non-existent.

Just a bad club, when they get pitching they don't hit, when they score runs the pitching is awful.

Only thing consistent is bad fundamentals and bad defense.

what. I mean I know Rojas is bad but...there's gotta be a better option

So what other teams besides the Sox?

For 2.5 months he was starting on a number of teams. He than had a month slump and now has been banged up. I think you are writing off a dude who looked like a .385+ OBP machine for a decent chunk of the season.

There is zero power there.  Just look at his SLG each month, even when his OBP was good.  He’s basically Madrigal with a better glove.  Meidroth simply isn’t going to work as a starting 2B.  He’s a backup utility infielder on a good team at best.  He will never be a consistent .385+ OBP machine with zero threat of hitting even double digit homers a season.

The book is out on Meidroth now — he’ll be challenged in the strike zone because he is almost no threat of hitting a bomb.  But a utility infielder isn’t the worst result as a third piece of a big trade.

Ideally, Sosa’s glove improves and he learns the strike zone and becomes more patient.  I have more hope in him being our starting 2B of the future than Meidroth going forward.  Meidroth won’t OPS .750+ even in his wettest of dreams in the MLB.

I truly do think the Sox are improved this season so this is mostly frustration being expressed.

I get so mad because the Sox are about to save the Royals season. Bet the house times 10. KC will sweep this series and thus start a hot streak that will get them in the playoffs. The Royals dominance of the Sox saved their season last year and they boatraced the Sox for years before that.

It's not fair, baseball. Even though the Sox are better they still reek on the road and it's unfair KC gets to ride three wins over the Sox (again) to save their season and get 'em hot for the playoff stretch. Make us get competitive, baseball commish. It's unfair to teams that don't play the Sox at opportune times.

The Royals are 10 games back on the division and 4 games back on the Wild Card.  They won’t make the playoffs.

Baseball is fair.  The Royals are mediocre but they are still better than Getz’s s%*# ass Sox team.  A new baseball commish isn’t going to suddenly make Jerry spend money or make Getz a better GM.

11 consecutive wins by KC at home seems like a trap bet

My point is because of the Sox they WILL make the playoffs. You wait. They'll be hot as heck after this sweep turns their season around.

Meanwhile, Sox season low/high of 34 games below .500 on the year now...

Have to beat Yankees Guardians Rangers...without #1 and #3 starting pitchers.

Royals 7.9% chance at WC, 0.2% for WS

I mean, this is the team we thought they would be.

They'll go on hot streaks, then go ice cold. I'm sure they'll right the ship for another small hot steak, then go cold again.

There's an upside to these players, but young kids are susceptible to streakiness.

One run in two games.
