I've been to a couple games this year where they announced attendance that didn't appear accurate to me. Seemed like there were more fans than what was announced.

Finally won a game Wow

Same, I wonder if the season ticket base is so much lower than usual it’s throwing off the numbers

If the team splits were swapped it might get credited to coaching, but alas.

If anyone has a chance to post the video Brooke Fletcher tweeted out after Luis's HR. You can tell that he really likes playing with Colson. Maybe Colson saves Roberts career haha.

I watched this Jomboy video the other day...wasn't really about the White Sox, but he showed some interesting stats that suggest the coaches are getting the most out of the players, at least on the base paths in terms of 'limiting mistakes'. Sox stuff starts at about the 7 minute mark.

Montgomery needs to get the OBP up, but he can whack it

We know Charlotte is terror on pitchers, but it doesn't seem that we learn much about hitters there either  - Montgomery couldn't hit a lick there,

Raze that stadium or relocate the Knights.

You can also catch the handshake after Colson's HR if you watch closely bottom right

They've got some chemistry.

I wonder if he just got fed up with losing and playing with Moncada and Eloy.

Colson Montgomery is a superstar in the making obviously. He's so good there are no words. Robert may now blossom or at least we can hope he's turned the corner. Did you see his form on that home run? My gosh he crushed it and had the natural lift and pull uppercut.

Moncada has over an 800 ops right now....on a .500ish team for most of the season.

Some are going to argue that he doesn't have the same type of "playoff pressure" pitching as a swing man or mostly mop up for the White Sox.

Although he's been used as the opener a few times when there were favor able matchups with opposing lefties.

Some that he had the "security" of a new one year contract signed with the Sox in middle of the season.

Comfort level, Chicago is hometown?

"Alexander went 3-5 with a 6.19 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 21 games and four starts with the Milwaukee Brewers this season before being designated for assignment on June 1. He will wear uniform No. 70.

Alexander, who was born in Chicago, has gone 20-33 with a 4.67 ERA and 393 strikeouts in 485.1 career innings pitched over seven major-league seasons with the Detroit Tigers (2019-23), Tampa Bay Rays (2024) and the Brewers (2025)."

Gave up 9 r/8 er combined in May against Phillies entering with a 17-2 lead and 4r/3er as last reliever available in extras tied 4-4 against Orioles in an 8-4 loss.

"He posted a 9.24 ERA in the month of May."

Otherwise, 5 er across the rest of month.

4.61 ERA overall 2025 vs. 4.67 career average over seven seasons...stats normalizing?, like Bummer in ATL or Diekman post Sox?

So-so at best in four starts in April/May....14.66 ip/8 er against Cincy COL Detroit Cubs, albeit 12 runs total surrendered

So 21 r/16 er across just six season appearances...

16.666 ip  21/16 er   8.64 era as a starter w/ MIL and two disasters vs. Philly/Balt

67.33 ip  29/27 er  3.61 for all other mlb appearances

-0.3 fWAR overall

A little overblown hype at this point in time don't you think?

He has great potential but we'll see what happens over time and IF, big if, he can stay healthy with his back.

If he can become a star that would go a very long way to help turn things around from where they are now.

This is baseball not basketball 😛

Wonderful game and the usual suspect is complain trolling about attendance for a last place team.

Given what's been going on since 2007 attendance should be the last thing fans should worry about.

I don't think so regarding too much hype. He's hitting home runs off all kinds of pitches and terrorizing the bleacher fans with his missiles. Whoever passed on him to let him fall to the 20s in the draft was dumb. He is amazing.
