need to go 8-10 to avoid 100 losses. Hardly a lock but looks doable.

Fangraphs shows Houser as the scheduled pitcher for tonight. He's had more downs than ups since joining the Rays, but he's coming off of a nice 7-inning, 1 run outing against the Mariners. He's not announced, yet.

will be an interesting pitching duel.  all of the starters will be facing each pitcher for the first time, except for Tauchman and MAT, who are both 0-for vs Houser

Mead bomb would be quite apropos

Colson will homer tonight.  Houser is a perfect pitcher for him.

Presumably Quero and Teel have some familiarity with Houser's stuff from having caught him.

Kinda don't want to light him up too bad though, I liked him as a Sox.

The amount of degenerate parlays based on HRs this dude has completed the last month certainly makes him a better's favorite.

Well so much for that idea. So his knee has now had this issue twice this season if I understand the comment from Fegan.

Tendonitus is something that comes and goes for most young athletes. Probably just needs to adjust his training routine a bit. Maybe do some different lower body lifts for awhile.

Not a huge fan of that quote. But if he wants to work in in a corner OF the offseason would be the time to try it.

Yah, and the first time he misjudges a fly ball next year, well, I can tell the content from this forum. Then, you have to carry a defensive replacement for him. Then, he's going back and forth and ends up hitting .210.

He's a Catcher.

Yea I tend to agree. He's graded out pretty well as a catcher too. No reason to move a guy down the defensive spectrum who is doing a good job.

Elston Howard and Yogi Berra moved once in a while. Wouldn’t hurt to have a second glove.

Anti-Century Magic Number is 8.  Sox should make good progress in this series.
Tampa should be good and demoralized after last weekend's debacle.

Hey look, another shitty ump!

TEEL!!!
