I’m not sure I buy that. They love Hoerner and look how quickly they were to make Shaw a bench player. Hoerner put up a 6.2 bWAR and they are never going to get back his worth in a trade. I get the prospect pedigree, but let’s not pretend this kid is some sure fire star because of his 2025 season.
