If that theme continues, the Sox will win a lot of games.

Apparently Vargas borrowed Mune's glove to play 1B today.

Since he hit a slam today and Mune hit HRs in the previous 3...we should be able to get at least 162 HR of production from 1B by simply giving The Glove to the starter there?

Michael Kopech has yet to hit a grand slam.

Checking the box score tonight it looks like they played well for a change.

They should be able to take the series from Miami, I don't think they are that good.

I’m guessing he is listening to someone else considering he was 0-10 for Getz. 🤣

It's a big step to realize he was fighting Getz's winning teachings.

The big step will be when Getz actually has his very first winning season as GM, rather than a third straight 100+ loss season.

He's already had it. You just don't realize it

The White Sox are currently responsible for 50% of the league's grand slams this season, which is on pace for ~60 (2025 MLB total was 120).

Alternatively, they have hit a grand slam in 50% of their games, which is 81 slam pace.

They hit 3 all last season (Montgomery, Vargas, Benintendi).

Nice game for Vargas. It will be very nice if he can continue to improve. With Vargas at 3rd, Montgomery at SS, and Mune at 1st, the White Sox infield could hit 80+ home runs. Which is good considering the outfield will not hit many.

Martin pitched okay. Some control issues, but he battled through five innings. Newcomb looked as advertised. He'll be a nice middle reliever who can eat a few innings. Let's just hope he isn't overused.

First win feels good. Hopefully it'll be the first of more than 62...

Extremely happy for Soroka. He seems like an awesome guy who has been to Hell and back.
