Schultz gets the call, Antonacci soon?

If you think that is bad I wouldn't look up the other guys

The only lower OPS’ in yesterday’s lineup were Quero and Acuna, who play premium positions.

I don’t think Sosa sucks, but he’s definitely was not one of only guys hitting.

It is absolutely absurd that you can see what has happened in Phoenix with his families investment in the Suns, including a WILD spending spree, and already be attempting to speak in absolute certaint

  • This isn’t sad, my friend, this is awesome!!!

The fact that there are any of you bemoaning the loss of Sosa shows you just how low the bar as been set for the Sox.

Simply should have got more for him. It was him or Mead. I don'tmind that they are both gone, but what was the return. Robert, Mead and Sosa, for what in return?

Three 5’10” or under slappy outfielders.

On Schultz I have seen conflicting reports, tomorrow Sox lose a year of control. If they waited till Wednesday they would not. Anyone know for sure?

No way in hell they come within one day of gaining a seventh year.

This, after all, is a Reinsdorf organization we're talking about.

Other than Smith, the starting pitching has been good for the Sox (about the only thing that's been good).
Excited to see Schultz pitch.

This whole argument is patently absurd when you look at the current 45 year long owner of the White Sox and realize that he LITERALLY used OPM to purchase the White Sox, has never been a majority owner of the White Sox, and it's never been HIS cash that did anything for this team in anything but a minority sense of the word. Jerry's wealth was built by pooling other people's money into real estate investments, including the CHICAGO WHITE SOX! Jerry is the definition of private equity. He came closer than any owner in the history of Chicago came to moving this franchise out of Chicago, and has literally stomped this original AL franchise into the lowest earning franchise IN ALL OF MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL. Ishbia doesn't have to be better than every other owner, he just has to be better than Jerry to seriously improve the status of this once proud franchise.

Literally every nutjob fear tactic you keep using to try to scare people about Ishbia, HAS ALREADY HAPPENED! If you want the team to succeed, you should recognize this.

It's like Roy Kohn is your ghostwriter using the old "accuse everyone else of whatever it is you are doing" tactic.

Months and months of hyperventilating over Ishbia's supposed nefarious plans to treat the Sox as another private equity venture that he can suck dry. Curse him and the Ishbia brothers' billions in wealth! Plus months and months of hyperventilating over JR's and Ishbia's obvious plans for a new stadium at the 78.

Oh why oh why can't the Sox keep the status quo and maintain for decades to come what we've experienced under Jerry Reinsdorf's stewardship and at a ballpark and location that has been problematic for many decades?

I have found the ignore feature on this site to be a very useful tool to block out the incessant nonsense.

True. Getz built the lineup. Three offseasons and here is where the Sox offense is at currently…

Last in entire MLB in AVG, OBP, SLG, OPS, Hits, Runs, and RBIs.

Note that the Cubs and the Red Sox have also struggled thus far. Crochet just got shelled for 11 runs in two innings - a Shane Smith special. Well Shane Smith got demoted (thank you Getz) and Noah Schultz is on the mound for us tonight. I hope he does well and does not feel the weight of the entire fans base who, after a tough start to the season, might be expecting the world out of him.

Once Periera and Teel are back, the offense should improve. Hard to be positive, but the season is still young my friends.

Antonacci in the Charlotte lineup today. Smh.

Kind of glad he’s not debuting the same day as Shultz. Let the kid have his own day.

But yes, Lenyn couldn't play LF.

What a bummer

No way the Sox are so incompetent that they'd change their plans based on an internet rumor/release.

Supposedly they had that old Dodgers trade fall apart years ago based on exactly this the Kusinski kid.

A trade is with another team. Totally different.

The Sox own Antonacci, his development and his plan. No one should be able to influence that but them.

So Schultz is just replacing Sosa on the roster?
