TLR is that you ?

Position player pitching used to be fun because the position player would be taking it at least 80% seriously and try to live out his dream of being a pitcher. I really despise the lob ball stuff as it makes a mockery of the game. Injury risk is massively overplayed and if it's that serious, just forfeit.

LOL murakami like I HIT DINGERS

Almost as much fun as beni hitting into a dp off a position player

it truly amazes me how guys can get called up to the big leagues who can't even locate their pitches at all

Eddings is a total douchecanoe. That was clearly an ask for a challenge.

I won’t allow name calling for 2005 White Sox World Series team member Doug Eddings. Complaining about the mechanics of how he does his job aren’t allowed.

Ah man he just missed two moon shots. Hitting that one to dead center on a sub 40 MPH pitch showed his strength.

I think it’s more about saving innings in the bullpen in a blowout and obvious loss, moreso than about avoiding injury.

Pereira looks like his eyes aren't aligned . 🤪

this dude is garbage, next.

The position player pitching is to save the pen, yeah. But the position player soft tossing is due to fears of the position player hurting his arm. IIRC Jose Canseco hurt himself pitching many moons ago and finally the teams decided they don't want anyone to exert any effort in that mop-up role. Wasn't that long ago that guys would at least be throwing in the 70+ mph range.

Bidêts >>> Bidos

That's one of those magical "out" plays. Good job, Libido!!

Bido seems like dollar store Jairo Iriarte

These shots of Vargas and Monty between pitches, they look grizzled.

It always seems like they bring in a bench player that knows how to throw some trick pitch like a knuckleball or knuckle curve.
