Just dfa him and bring up Kelenic.

  • Hasn't been worth harping on, but Luisangel's batted ball luck has been pisspoor this season. Not so much that he's lowkey hitting well or anything crazy like that. But his xwOBA is above the likes of

  • Colson now 17/112 from the 7th inning and later in his career with 3 homers. Not good

Unlike the crowd here, I'm not all that fired up about these last two games. Lost a couple coin flips. Good job by the pitching staff overall. Will be nice to get Hays and Teel back in the lineup in the not so distant future. Really want to get just one more talented player in the lineup from somewhere. For now, we wait for Braden which may be a long wait.

They aren't terrible losses in the grand scheme of things, but especially coming off of a pretty impressive road trip, you'd like to see them start winning more of these coin flips.

3 runs in regulation wins yesterday, and 1 in regulation wins today. Just 1 hit with RISP could have flipped either game.

So many complaints about the pitching, but they handed the offense a sweepable series. Lack of execution at the plate and it's two losses in extras instead.

Can't play that way in front of home fans desperate for a reason to jump back on board...too predictable.

To the team that's right there at 28/29/30 with them.

Wood/Abrams too talented.

Griffin >>> Kay

That's how we get to maybe they're competitive in 2028...?

Maybe if they don't screw up 1-1 pick.

Maybe if Teel hits likes second half Kyle and hits ground running in rehab.

Leasure has failed many times in high leverage situations and people see that

Yeah it is what it is, the White Sox are trotting out pretty putrid offenses over the past couple years and if you have anything short of a fantastic reliever you're going to see a lot of painful outings for whoever is asked to defend a bunch of small leads. Last year, Jordan faced higher leverage situations than anyone on the team and did fine even if that meant on numerous occasions it didn't go well. This year it's been bad so far and we'll just have to see how it goes but he still doesn't really stand out to me as a very important problem with the team. Sox can hand over the third-best-righty-reliever duties to Tyler Davis or Wikelman or whoever but it's small potatoes IMO.

FWIW, this year Seranthony leads MLB in highest leverage appearances. He deserves scrutiny as a highly paid veteran but he's also had a pretty tough set of circumstances to pitch in. But again, in his case that is exactly what the Sox paid him for even if a better team wouldn't so constantly be holding on for dear life. He was down a full mph today with worse movement on his pitches than normal so I wonder what that's about. I'm frankly not super worried about him though.

Would only work if Mune sentenced himself to that punishment in kangaroo court.

Let's see if he is a team player.

Look at his numbers in Philly compared to the last 2-3 years.

Just wearing down from a lifetime of very high usage levels.

Definitely the most professional in terms of preparation.

Yeah, let’s see how fast he hits some more homers once he is forced to use dry TP and get paper cuts on his chocolate starfish.

They both struggle when they get behind hitters, which Jordan seems to do most times I watch him. It is just so frustrating because I did think this bullpen would be much better than last year....alas it is not yet.

I think there are a couple of guys who really want the big "moment" for the home crowd and it takes them away from their approach.

Colson for example. He often looks like he's trying to hit the big homer that gets the huge home crowd pop...but he's more likely to get the job done when he's not pressing so hard for it.

On the road, he's 6-19 (3 XBH) with RISP. Nearly 1.000 OPS and 10 RBI....But at home he's 1-12 with 1 RBI and 6K.

I think he'll sort it out though, and I care far more about that than what the various filler bats do.

Not sure who is more worthless Sir Anthony or Leisure

So glad we took less on the Robert trade so we could "afford" him.

2 tough losses, they need to start winning these kind of games .

At least they avoided Beavis.

He's just whackin it in my toolshed instead.

When they get good pitching, they can't hit...

When they hit and score runs the pitching falls apart...

Such is the life of a bad franchise.

Have now lost eight of their last nine home games.

It was his 3rd outing in 4 days, and the other two were back to back saves with travel in between. Ideally they would have scored at any point in the first 9 innings so that he doesn't need to come in this one at all.

Oh. did you invite Reese over for a BBQ??

Gotta imagine no one is more annoyed with the loss than Murray, who had a potential game winner robbed and then was hurt diving for that out in the 10th.

Back to second worst rs/ra at -29.

Phillies at a befuddling -54.

He has given his best efforts, certainly...just unfortunately, looks like a AAAA player.

I'm tired of having 4-5 guys that are obviously not MLB quality getting big innings and big ABs. I no we have payroll constraints but come on.

Also no Hays, Teel or Baldwin and Sosa traded. Thats probably around 50 HR's out of the lineup .

Also looked like he was falling off the mound way too much. Made his ball float arm side

Sox starters are better than the relievers. Burke is seriously improved this year, so do they have to pull him under 80 pitches? Perhaps build up his stamina.

On the relief, side, Taylor too. It's 1 inning and out.

Sox lose almost every game in these situations

Like the Blackhawks in OT.
