White Sox are hot; let’s play a game. Had a day game Wednesday; off yesterday; now they don’t play until 9:40 (my time) Eastern. It seems like we’ve sat through the all-star break since last they pla

Tatis not hitting for any power anymore after he got busted for PEDs. Doesn't even have a homer this year.

wtf was that?

And wondering why Venable didn't come out to make sure Sam didn't do anything to get him kicked out

JR will really look like a dumbass/jackass if he trades a Top 5-10 mvp hitter (if this level of walks/hitting continues)

I doubt the walks decrease and if he is hitting above .240 now with his first taste of MLB pitching, I doubt he doesn’t maintain or improve on that. I think he’s easily going to be a $300+ million dollar player at age 27 with his marketing potential. Imagine Japanese fans getting to watch him and his buddy Ohtani on the same team. If he keeps this up, he has all the leverage in the world.

1/2 game behind Detroit with a win

he's looked super bad against velo though, 94+ he's hitting like .1-something

Was anyone else afraid he would get thrown out.

We want Sam in this lineup.

Colson has 2 strikes on him. Not bad to run and either get into scoring position for a full count where you can now score on a single off on the pitch, or reset the account for colson if youre thrown out.

Bumping this because of how perfectly it worked out. Colson with a fresh count the next inning, draws a lead off walk, and leads to a six run inning. Beautiful.

Damnnnnnnnnnnnn thought he had it

You have to offer Mune 2-3 additional years.

Maybe the last year is an attractive player option.

That locks in all the marketing/corporate and Japanese tourism for Chicago for at least four years.

they should be able to work with that in Boyer’s dept.

Still could be a FA in 2030 at just age 30

If Romo keeps this up, Quero will be the one sent down when Teel is ready.

Padres are too good to coast on one big inning, would like to see the Sox add on with this next trip through the order.

bad hitting and fielding conditions a lot of particulate in the air in SD tonight.

From a recent article posted elsewhere on Soxtalk, sounds like extension talks won’t happen until the ASB at the earliest and more likely in the offseason. But with Brooks Boyer going to Japan I think that’s a good sign.
