Monday at 08:46 PM2 days The team is playing good baseball and definitely has an upward trajectory. My condolences to some of our posters.
Monday at 09:02 PM2 days It never ceases to amaze me that even when the team is playing well, there are so many people who spend so much time worried about what others think instead of just actually enjoying it, especially since we all know the chances of it lasting. For all of the talk of "not caring about what other people think" why is every other post, about what other people think?

As if that person had anything to do with the current success of the team. I guess some people just want to take credit for being “the greatest White Sox fan ever”, even though they have zero control over how the team performs.
Monday at 09:09 PM2 days 2 hours ago, Look at Ray Ray Run said:No, it actually doesn't. If the White Sox were competing and contending the last two years, no one would be ecstatic or excited about a team below .500 pal.The Sox had the 3rd most wins in the 90's in baseball. No fan in the 90's was happy when the Sox were fighting for .500.It's very obvious that most people have changed their perspective because of the misery of the past few years. I will not allow this organizations incompetence to re calibrate my personal expectations, but you do you!I also simply don't break small samples down into smaller ones just to pitch a narrative. Baseball is a game of attrition, not a game where you evaluate possibilities based on smaller sample outcomes.Look buddy it's a rebuild . They are ascending and people take that into consideration except maybe for you , telling us all you're not trying to squash dreams because you are the optimist in your group. You're so full of s%*# it's leaking into your posts . You're playing both sides of the fence. You say you agree with a poster who thinks the Sox can win up to 82 games but were telling us a little over a month ago that the whole situation was embarrassing because you can't put 2024 behind you. You have used "embarrassing" so many time in posts to describe the Sox it's hard to keep up.Some of us have seen the rise and predicted it. We don't change our opinions based on the current state of the team as you have been doing while hedging your bets that they may still regress. Fence sitter. Fair weather fan. Wet blanket.

You do nothing but b**** about anything and everything, dragging your hurt feeling into every thread like some badge of honor, when you should be embarrassed for acting like a toddler perpetually. Click that. Then change the dns server. This should reset the issue between your system and website, where your system is not recognizing certification of website.Let me know if this works so I can feel like a good guy for a minute
Monday at 10:17 PM2 days When they start signing REAL free agents again to fill in some holesIn the outfield, a number of roughly similar players will sort themselves out during the season: Daulton Varsho, Seiya Suzuki, Randy Arozarena, Ian Happ, Taylor Ward, Trent Grisham and, likely looking for a shorter-term deal, George Springer. The depth of the 2026-27 free agent market is starting pitching. The leading names behind Skubal and Peralta are: Trevor Rogers, Michael King (opt-out), Kevin Gausman, Tatsuya Imai (opt-out), Kris Bubic, Jack Flaherty, Zac Gallen, Shota Imanaga, Casey Mize, Nick Pivetta, Brady Singer, Shane Bieber, Brandon Woodruff, Nick Martinez (mutual option), Matthew Boyd (mutual option) and Clay Holmes (opt-out). Monday at 10:20 PM2 days Chicago White SoxTrade candidate: Erick Fedde (FA)Likely need: ProspectsDespite playing in the AL Central, the White Sox already seem like one of the few teams we can confidently identify as looking to trade away major leaguers at the deadline. That leads us to the pending free agents, including Fedde, lefty reliever Sean Newcomb, backup catcher Reese McGuire (already gone) and outfielder Austin Hays ($8 million mutual option for 2027). None projects to have particularly high trade value, although Fedde received a lot of trade interest in 2024, when the White Sox sent him to the Cardinals in a three-way deal with the Dodgers that netted Miguel Vargas.(Dominguez and Kay other names to watch.)

First, people have railed on about every single move in the last 3 seasons regardless of whether they actually worked out or not. Every ball that wasn't fielded cleanly gets pages of people complaining about fundamentals, and incompetence, and how everybody sucks and should be fired. So yeah, when the team starts playing more consistently, you'll get it back. You set the table, I hope you enjoy watching my ass doing the victory dance after every win. The second one is the guy who feels the need to barrel in and tell everybody that what they're watching isn't real. He's found some underlying metric that supports his narrative. Or the kvetching about who's going to be our starting second baseman in 2032, or how can you be happy when the Twins might have a better CF in 3 years? Or basically that it's so funny that people derive joy from watching baseball when the team loses sometimes. What chumps!!! Same thing. I'll answer that BS back. This all seems to be much ado about bullies crying that they're getting back what they've been giving for years.

My opinion was that the target OF coming into this year was Hays, Baldwin, Pereira. Now it's Ant, Peters and Pereira. Hill seems to be a team player they'd want to take care of. Maybe the order in which guys get jettisoned is Grichuk, Beni, Acuña, Kelenic, Hays, then Peters?

Anyways, @CaliSoxFanViaSWside said that @Look at Ray Ray Run was “trying to squash dreams”. If your dreams are that the White Sox turn into a .500 team or better, you really need to reevaluate the importance of things. My hopes and dreams are that my kids do well in college, have nice careers, and are successful in life. My “dreams” won’t be “squashed” if the Sox don’t win another WS. It would be nice if they did, but it’s not all that important in the grand scheme of things to me. Besides, Jerry and Sox players don’t give two shits about me so why would I worry all that much about them?Sports is a hobby. A form of entertainment. It’s not that do or die whether you are a “Jedi” or a “Panican”. No one on their deathbed is really thinking about how sad it is that the Sox haven’t won another WS since 2005.
