Kay - another player that Getz made a mistake acquiring which means that Kay will stay in the rotation until he blows more games. Like the Acuna deal, it's so hard for Getz to admit he made a mistake. Acuna should have been DFAed already. Meanwhile, this game could be over after Kay gave up a 3 spot with some out of control pitching. Kay is the stopper...stopper of a White Sox winning streak.

What kind of contact hitter watches a perfect change up to slap hit in the zone then tries to pull an outside slider? Acuna isn't even toast he's compost.

You generally get what you pay for in free agency.

This wasn't the case for Kay in his previous MLB stints, but in this season's small sample he has very pronounced lefty/righty splits. Might bode well for how a transition to the bullpen would go.
