in 113 MLB games with 460 PA Colson:

wRC+ 130

Fielding runs above avg: 14

fWAR: 4.4.

So a cool 6 fWAR player over a full season, OK.

We play .500 ball goddammit. Salt of the earth, punch the clock, even win/loss ratio baseball. We lose a couple, guess what? We'll win a couple, too. But don't get too excited or let it go to your head. No long winning streaks here, no sir. That's hubris, which this blue collar, hard working everyman team doesn't have. A few wins in a row, these guys, true to form, will balance it out with a couple a losses. Yes sir, that's my 2026 White Sox. A good, honest .500 baseball team.

Colson gw rbi

Dominguez continues to be dictionary definition of walking the tight rope

another big win without Mune and Vargas doing much

Tyler Davis resettled game in middle

Newcomb also good Hicks had big time recovery from 1st 3rd no outs

Antonacci and Kelenic lightning rods for board controversy/opposing views lol

Kelenic had the game winning RBI.

some bone headed mistakes aside kelenic has been solid and it's nice to role players step up with the stars on various nights. I hate to jinx it but Vargas Colson Mune being a projected yearly 10-14 WAR is a very solid young position player core.

PANICANS IN FULL PANIC MODE! This young squad is so fun to watch! Reinforcements on the way too with Teel, and B. Montgomery soon. More behind them. The Spring 2025 TJS crew is starting to work in ACL and can be a wildcard as well. Ishbia and McDonalds on the way.

McDonalds ?

I just noticed that the first 3 games vs. KC all had a 2-0 score, and now the last 3 have all had a 6-5 score (all Sox wins).

Kelenic gets a "solid" based on draft pedigree and batted ball metrics. The game is played between the lines . Still needs to start hitting the ball over the fence to get out of negative fWAR.

Pereira .3

Peters .5 .321 BA over his last 20 games and a 3 OAA

Romo .5

Antonacci .5

Grichuk .1

Dru Harris .2

Derek Hill .1

Tanner Murray 0

Kelenic -.2 (maybe -.1 after today)

Reese McGuire -.2

Lenyn Sosa -.3

Hays -.3

Benintendi -.4

Quero -.4

Acuna -.5

I know Kelenic hasn't had the PA's of most of these guys but still needs to get some slug in his game or he's stuck in neutral not accruing WAR defensively or on the bases .

Colson hit the final Sox rbi of the game with his homer in the 7th, Kelenic was the 5th. Kelenic had the go-ahead RBI but not game inning because of Witt’s homer

My take of “Chris Getz just had a really shitty leader in Rick Hahn” is more alive than ever!

A game-winning RBI is the RBI that gives a team the lead that they never give up. I know it’s not an official stat anymore, but by definition, Kelenic had the game-winning RBI.

The American League is a joke this year and the Sox with a .500 record might just make it to a Wild Card spot.

That’s a strange definition in that the lead that Kelenic provided was voided

Among other nice things about the game, it was good to see Tyler Davis with an effective bounceback game.

It is strange, but also correct.

It is strange, and I can see both sides, but I'd argue that the lead Kelenic provided was never relinquished. Colson added an insurance run that appears to matter now, but I would have trouble labeling an insurance run as a "game-winner".

Just meme-ing about our future stadium district partner.

While I think the GWRBI is a meaningless statistic, I can understand awarding the guy who knocked in clutch runs that took the lead, and not guys who produced in garbage time that a shaky bullpen eventually turned into meaningful runs.

Is Coca-Cola or Pepsi any better?

What about Powerade/Gatorade?

Seems there's no completely "winning" products anymore.
