But don't get too excited or let it go to your head. No long winning streaks here, no sir. That's hubris, which this blue collar, hard working everyman team doesn't have. A few wins in a row, these guys, true to form, will balance it out with a couple a losses. Yes sir, that's my 2026 White Sox. A good, honest .500 baseball team.

some bone headed mistakes aside kelenic has been solid and it's nice to role players step up with the stars on various nights. I hate to jinx it but Vargas Colson Mune being a projected yearly 10-14 WAR is a very solid young position player core.

Kelenic gets a "solid" based on draft pedigree and batted ball metrics. The game is played between the lines . Still needs to start hitting the ball over the fence to get out of negative fWAR.

A game-winning RBI is the RBI that gives a team the lead that they never give up. I know it’s not an official stat anymore, but by definition, Kelenic had the game-winning RBI.

While I think the GWRBI is a meaningless statistic, I can understand awarding the guy who knocked in clutch runs that took the lead, and not guys who produced in garbage time that a shaky bullpen eventually turned into meaningful runs.
