A big part of Quero's problem is that he's just swinging at crap. His plate discipline is so much worse than it was last year.

Your argument was weak if you just want to stick the argument that Colson shouldnt ever play third. Colson and Acuna arm , glove and range are all better than anyon else you put on the left side of the infield. And sure weaken all other defensive positions makes so much sense.

I suppose you know a lot more than Venable right ? 🤣Taking Acuna out of the lineup makes all the difference this game somehow even though he has done fine at SS and 1 for 3 at the plate and scored a run.

Goes deeper than that at bat. He swings at the first pitch about 90% of the time. He is in a bit of a slump. No reason to go up hacking every time. Wish he would see a pitch from a new pitcher. Especially when you are 2-18 in lost 5 games with 8 ks.
