2 hours ago2 hr Detmers just turned 27, has two more years of cheap control, and looks like he has turned the corner. If the rumor that Getz doesn’t want to give up top prospects and would prefer to take on money, Detmers isn’t even a fit anyways.

After that it’s hard to say, but Quero is a post hype former top 100 guy and Adams is a major league ready SP who is 26 years old and lacks ceiling. To me it feels about right and the fact people here see at being too much & too little suggests it may not be too far off.
2 hours ago2 hr 5 days to go and not only has nothing of substance really happened leaguewide, but there hasn't even been many legit rumors. I suppose this is a function of the new reality that there are less known sellers with the expanded playoffs.

Angels never trade guys and dudes like this with 2.5 years of control don't often move due to asking price. 24 minutes ago, WhiteSox2023 said:Really? Wow. I already thought pitchers were going to be outrageously expensive but even I’m surprised by that.I've heard they asked the Cubs for Hartshorn and Ben Brown. 9 minutes ago, Chicago White Sox said:What would be astronomical for the Sox?Bonemer or Braden Montgomery plus

Then again, it’s the Angels. Wouldn’t surprise me if they wanted guys to plug into their lineup right away.
2 hours ago2 hr Martin, Kay and Burke are locks for the rotation next year.We have Shane Smith, Hagen Smith, Thorpe, Adams, Schultz, Sandlin, McDougal in the wings.I have to imagine at least 3 of those guys are dealt. Eventually, won't you run into a 40 man crunch or have to keep them in AAA?
2 hours ago2 hr Go get Holmes & Ray. That won't cost you a Bonemer, Smith or Carlson.Rotation: Burke/Martin/Ray/Holmes/KayFedde to the bullpen

I don't even like the idea of trading Bonemer, but at least he plays a position where the Sox are heavy on prospects.

Limited walks, higher strikeout rates, and I don’t think he’s even given up a run.

Adams seems to be the best plug-n-play option for a team selling off for "near MLB ready" talent.
