But as long as Teel is ready for the workload, Teel is going to get 80%+ of the reps behind the plate. And the difference between Quero and Romo isn't really that big, regardless. His arm is still elite elite so hes got that going for him. Romo is horrible defensively despite his scouting report and also cannot hit anything. Lee is bad defensively but looks a lot better than Romo has. He was decent overall in a short run last year as well. In a vacuum Id rather see Lee, but cant speak to the pitcher speculation or roster moves that would have to be made.

Now that Teel is back, hopefully Mune will be joining the team soon. The team needs both players to lead the team into the 2026 playoffs.

Yeah, I watched him float towards it when he should have been sprinting. I think he's going to be a stud, but he's a lot more raw than I expected.

Oh I bet his magic wand is still in his pocket, if you are that worried about it...

One interesting thing to keep an eye on with Teel other than his will be his bat speed. Vargas' flashed his big bat speed increase in ST and it successfully carried over to the regular season.

Teel recorded some of the best bat speed on the team in ST (after being among the slowest last season), so I'm curious to see if his gains stick too. Not sure how/if they could have been affected by his injuries though.
