I say this over and over. I don’t give a s%*# who the announcers are. If the Sox win that day, whoever it was were the best announcers in the world.

FWIW, Romo and Quero 7-64 on season with RISP. Shockingly, McGuire was 2-4

Mason Adams perfect through 2 with a couple K’s for the Knights. I think we see him soon.

If you want to know why the Sox wanted to get a look at Rock, look no further than his release point. It's a commonality across nearly every lefty the Sox have had around in the past couple years. It's low and very wide, with good extension. Newcomb is actually the most extreme release point of all the guys, even Schultz. Rock and Hudson (not to be confused with Rock Hudson!) are the most similar to each other. Eisert is in the same mold, he's just got a very different body so it ends up looking a little different. Chris Murphy is a little more conventional but still shades this way. What you tend to see from these guys (Murphy not included) is stuff that doesn't look great on paper but batters tending not to get good swings off. Also, pitcher having trouble throwing it where he wants. What we see with Hudson is his command isn't very good but he manages to just spray it all over the strike zone and the batters aren't hitting it so he gets away with it for the most part. But Hudson has dealt with near yips level of walks in the past, so it can come for anyone.

Brooke is even doing the “Watchout!” on foul balls into the crowd like Hawk. 🫣

Joe Rock looked outstanding (that inning).

If she supports taking down the netting I'll like her.

Is 38% K rate and 6% BB rate good? Asking for a baseball team

Ugh

More of that batted ball luck

Really paltry effort today

No positive. Thanks.

Colson has 3 balls over a hundred in this game. I’m not sure the Guards have 1.

He really needs to get closer to the plate

Colson destroyed that ball and it just died out there. One of those days.

Best he’s swung in a week

Chase that was on the corner

I am not a Mason Adams believer, but we'll need a fresh body before too long so I don't oppose him getting a look. Probably would prefer to see Sandlin though.

Chase you missed on both dude

league is just eating him up on the corner

Meidroth doesn't really think these pitches are balls but he knows you gotta give it a shot with 2 challenges left and the final out about to be made

Chase is never going to hit the outside pitch or really swing at it with how far off the plate he is

Well whatever. Took 2 of 3.
