Got to see Friday night's game in person. Although I can sure do without that traffic, it was really fun to experience the roar of the crowd in person (when good things happened)!

A number of my family members were also there to support my great-nephew Sam. He managed a nice single, a stolen base, a hit-by-pitch, and a gapper double. It was unfortunate that the Astros managed to post an 8-spot in the 6th, but you'll have that.

I commented on the nice crowd size, and the powerful roar it was capable of producing, and my son (who arranged our outing) recalled being at Sam's debut game back in mid-April, describing the crowd that day as so small that it was "like being at a high school game." So fun to see things trend in a good direction!

Grateful for this brand new day! GO SOX!!!
