Monday at 10:11 AM3 days The thought is that the Rangers cut him loose to allow him to find another gig since they had no plans of calling him up. Kelenic had the following line for the Rangers’ AAA team in 123 plate appearances: .374.451.6541.105

This time, they likely cut him from his minor league deal to get a shot with another team.

Tuesday at 10:19 PM2 days man that is fucking brutal. awful luck for red sox. oh well, luck is part of the game. nobody is crying that we have lost 3-4 WAR with Teal's below replacement backups and half out young pitching had TJS the last 15 months.
Tuesday at 10:24 PM2 days Obviously just bad luck by Boston but what a masterful trade by the Nasty Nats. They turned Boston Smith into 6 years of a mid-rotation starter. Edited Tuesday at 10:27 PM2 days by WhiteSox2023

If it makes Red Sox fans feel any better, they basically traded Early and Perales for Mead and Bennett. Mead won't be of any use this year, but he's controllable for a long time.

A terrible injury for a hitter and you never know if it'll come all the way back.
