Pretty bad when the catcher is the best hitter in the game

It is a good sign that Quero might become the hitter he was last year.

If someone has to be sacrificed, it may as well be Ron. Then we can officially retire that awful Chairman of the Board nickname.

I vote in favor of your proposal!

Pereira is and always has been a wind tunnel. Something both the Yankees and Rays figured out. Unfortunately, Getz did not.

Time to bring Hays up.

7 of the 14 strikeouts today were on pitches that weren’t even close to the strike zone. Probably the worst I’ve seen from them in a very long time.

Which was still below league average.

Pereira is 2 for last 27 with 14 strikeouts

Mariners are god awful right now.

Ron is the greatest troll in history and he’s pretty funny. Don’t be PB and jelly.

I love Ron but not when he’s costing us games. He went too far today and needs to be made an example of.

There is no going too far for Ron. He is on an island of his own.

I don't know what Lewis was doing.

Randy Arozarena and Andres Munoz to the rescue.

I’m a Seattle and Dbacks Stan right now.

It would be far funnier if he did that on the Cubs' boards...even if it meant a Yankee win.

Didn't even look home?

Thought there were two outs?

Watch your mouth, @caulfield12. And don’t forget to place your vote for PCA for NL MVP.

Thought he could turn the 3-6 DP

Ohtani...and Alvarez.

Can't defeat the greatest player in modern baseball history with a sub 2 ERA as a pitcher and also two time defending WS champion.

If he just threw home right after he stepped on first, Randy is probably out.

Tough loss.

Seventh time this year Sox have been shut out.

Second time this year they have lost a game by the score of 1-0.

Two out/ RBI hit the difference.

See what they can do Sunday...at least Minnesota lost.

Second games of a series has been the killer for this offense

looked like Lewis couldn't throw around Rodriguez in the baseline and by then it was too late

Didn't notice that before but you seem to be right especially when they score in double figures in the first game of a series.

And I just saw the stats on Cam Booser who sucked with the Sox last season, apparently Tampa is doing Tampa things again with former Sox relief pitchers.

Cleveland is gonna win today. Hopefully we can win two of the next 4 at the very least then win the series against Cleveland

Sox just can't seem to crack the seven games over .500 barrier. Maybe if they could they could go off on a run.
