Yes, because he was DFA’d before the deadline and was traded beforehand. We are running out of time to trade Pereira.

I can't believe we lost Hill over Pereira just to DFA him anyways.

I’d rather have Mason Adams and Pereira on this team with Vielma in the minors than Doyle on this team instead of those three, and I don’t even like Pereira that much.

Getz somehow seemingly made the team worse with this series of moves. Am I missing something?

Yea I was good with this deadline with Castillo, Brazoban and Bart. The Doyle move which basically got Pereira out is now the one I'm like huh... unless the hitting department really thinks Doyle can get back to where he was 2 years ago and his defense is miles better... I much rather have Pereira.

Honestly, you could question overpaying Castillo for next year but shedding Seranthony’s $12 million salary for next year makes it less of an impact to the payroll. Brazoban was a great trade. Bart was basically free.

The Doyle trade is a complete head scratcher.
