Guess Who's Back, Back Again

Venable will continue to start Romo more though

Romo haunts my dreams.

Next year with a healthy Teel and Bart we should never see Romo again in a White Sox uniform, I guess we have to keep Quero as an insurance policy down in Charlotte.

Quero is 23 years old and could benefit from an offseason program and more development time in Charlotte. I’m ok with a Teel & Bart platoon to start the season with Edgar in AAA serving as the #3.

Romo just can’t be part of the plan. I get the pitching staff must love throwing to him and he’s probably a clubhouse guy, but the dude can’t hit a lick and isn’t elite behind the plate.

I agree on Quero, it’s too early to give up on him. I don’t know what went wrong with him this year and hopefully they can fix him.

Quero Time, let's go !!

Haase is hitting .381 in 6 games at Charlotte.

I truly feel they keep sending Quero down because they want him to work on some things but every time he goes down something happens with the big club. At this point leave him with the team for the rest of year and ride it out and then work on things over summer

They presumably will only keep three catchers on the 40 man through the offseason. Feel like they'll dfa Bart

That sounds like it could go either way. Is it because of his performance or because he is so dreamy? Or both?

There's at least 2 and maybe 3 more catchers in our minors right now I'd be OK giving a shot over Romo.

Not really sure it's a guarantee that they tender Bart a contract.
