Last time Castillo started against Cleveland, he gave up 1 ER in 6 innings. He should have started off this series and Shultz should have taken the ball in Boston for his final opportunity before the call was made on him.

Oh well… time for the entire team on both sides of the ball to step up and start to shine once more.

The next 46 games will determine if this team will be forgotten or if they will begin their next challenge with a shot of becoming legendary.

Let that sink in....46 games left and we have a 3 game lead in the division. That truly is amazing.

He just hasn't had command of his pitches. His stuff is not good enough to get away with it. He was a totally different pitcher the first 2 months when he could actually locate.

I agree with this completely.

Great game. The crowd was really into the game. Also, the Guillen jersey that was given out was really nice.

Anybody else think Sox should not be starting Martin tomorrow.

I know the obvious question is who else, but it is a huge game and Sox don’t want the score to be 5 - 0 Cleveland after half an inning.

That’s what’s happened his last 2 starts.

I'm thinking he is a good candidate for an opener.

I am looking forward to Scriff & Stoney today on CHSN.

Same here, Falstaff. And Brooke, Dan and Connor too. Nobody's perfect, but I think the CHSN team does a great job bringing the games to us. They obviously prepare well, and they try to keep it fun. I look at sports like I look at music and playing an instrument--- if you're not having fun doing it, you probably shouldn't be doing it. At times the "total access" stuff, and the inside-the-dugout hijinx, can be a bit much, but I think it's done in the right spirit. I'd be fine with a little less "access" and a little more "just the facts, ma'am." But overall, I honestly think this broadcast team is primo.
