No stress at all.

All that matters is the W right now. Huge series win.

Thank you Colson and the bullpen!

Big series win and Minnesota also lost.

Need to watch out for the Tigers creeping up now.

My wife told me 3.5 is actually huge.

So I'm feeling pretty good about this division lead.

Have had some tough opponents/starters since the ASB:

@TOR, @TEX, HOU, NYY, @TBR, @BOS, CLE.

Finished 11-11. I take that every day.

tigers are in 2nd place, what the fuuuuuuu

That was a tougher stretch in my mind than when they had the Braves, Dodgers et al.

Huuuge - way to bounce back from that rough BoSox series! I said it a few days ago - we going to go on a hit streak!!!

Other than the Cubs for 3 and Braves for 1, we basically face only teams that are .500 or worse the rest of the way.

BRUTAL stretch, especially the latter half. That was the gauntlet on the schedule and we come out of it even. That’s a win.

Miggy needs to see some lesser quality pitchers to get himself back on track.

+2…. Get comfortable folks, they’re going on a run with at least 8 more in a row left. This team will get a second wind and start to break through.

After the 4 game bump ( mainly due to the otherworldly Marvel-like Red Sox )… the boys will take a breath tomorrow and will come out strong moving forward.

20 - 13 so far against the Central.

Keep that up ( I think they will have an even better wining percentage in the games left within the division ) and we will be hanging another AL CENTRAL PENNANT!!!

At least he’s still flashing leather.

Big series win for your first place Chicago White Sox! With 61 wins, they have surpassed 2025's win total with 45 games remaining.

They have 8 series wins, 2 splits, and 3 losses since last hosting CLE in June, despite the season apparently being over (at least) twice a week during that time.

They lead the CLE season series 6-4, which means just one win in the remaining road series to secure the extra edge.

DET won and MIN lost, so suddenly the Tigers have ridden an easy stretch of their schedule into 2nd place with the Sox 3.5 up.

But DET and CLE face off next, which means one of them has to lose ground (and barring a sweep, both will still be under .500). Twins will be hosting the O's.

Congrats to Hagen on career win #1 in his debut.

It was… thanks to the fucking Red Sox and our unyielding desire to win!

They have been 41 - 28 against sub .500 teams. Thats virtually a .600 clip. 41 games at a .600 clip plus 2 more from the Cubs / ATL makeup…

Puts us at 88 wins on the year.

Sure was nice seeing life out of Colson’s bat and Mune yesterday. Miggy will join the party against the Reds.

I’ve also been happy with what we’ve seen out of Doyle. The out at third stings but the kid has shown you enough to see what the front office is dreaming on with him for the next 3 years.

BTW: Is Romo going to maintain his fucking roster spot for the rest of the season? Good Lord!

I agree now that I am sitting at the computer.

Weird bullpen game from both teams

If sox can go 23-22 rest of the way, Tigers would have to go 26-18 to tie.

Plenty of stranded base runners by both teams.

The White Sox would have to go 1-41 to lose 100 games. I don't think that's going to happen.

Will be shocked if 84 is all we:

  1. End up with

  2. Will need for the division

But your math checks out and is telling… so maybe I’m at least half wrong.

Hagen Smith really needs something. He reminds me of Kopech. Weird mechanics, wild as hell.
