Got great bat to ball skills and a pudding face.

That pudding face is @Chicago White Sox’s wife’s hall pass. I would bet $1000 dollars that not only is @Chicago White Sox better looking, but that he could also beat Meidroth’s little 5’9” ass. Pretty sure my 18 year old son was that tall at age 12. 🤣

Good win. We face another lefty tomorrow but if we can win then we are guaranteed first no matter what after the Tigers series

Better strikeout call: he gawn or yeeeeahhh buddy!

Seems as though he has he has gone from being a contact hitter to a slugger, depending on the situation. A rare ability in this era. He is just a baseball player in every way.

Antonacci is working on the same idea too.

The flexibility of moving players around the field on this team is an incredible strength.

Two of my current Sox players among many. They have spunk.

I prefer the chewing sounds of Jason Bennetti followed by an obscure reference that only Dungeons and Dragons players would understand followed by a self-satisfied chuckle

Agreed. We haven’t had this flexibility since Andrew Vaughn and Leury Garcia.

Meidroth is shaping up to be a much bigger part of the Crochet trade than originally thought. He is truly a grinder that hits for average and now some power. His defense is pretty good, too. He and Antonacci are shaping up to be pains in the ass for other teams on offense, defense, and attitude.

We have several 3-5 WAR position players and I love them all equally for now.

"For now." 😆

One of the Dodgers' great strengths in recent years too. It's so big to be able to keep bats in the lineup and adapt.

(Please disregard the billion dollars that they have also spent on contracts.)

Good win, the lower bowl at the game was packed. I enjoyed sitting in the bleachers and watching the game.

Castillo was great but the bats are still not clicking they way we need. Too many guys in funks and struggling right now.

Props to Chase for continuing to become a key member of this core and one of the best 2nd basemen in the league

24k attendance - pretty good for a middle of the week game against an opponent that isn't a big draw (Dodgers, Yankees, division rival, etc.). They might make it to 2M attendance this year barring a total collapse by the team, though I'm sure the weeknight attendance numbers will take a hit once school starts.

I think there was more then 24K. There thousands of people who used free game vouchers for this game. The lines to redeem vouchers were all the way to 35th street from parking lot B. I asked one of the attendants what the line was for he explained it was to redeem game vouchers. Not sure if those people were counted within the 24K

Meidroth’s Spunk

Antonacci’s Spunk

My favorite part about these two guys is that they can play all over the field. I love seeing their spunk all over the place. Nothing better than spunk that just goes all over the place and covers everything.

Not to mention, these guys are pests. Their spunk gets in the faces of the opponents.

Alright - where’s the putz who said Castillo was gonna give up the equivalent of a 7 ERA today in his start?

Take the series tomorrow and then go roll on the tigers. LFG.

His lifetime stats at Comiskey are insane. Sub 3 era. Probably a reason why we got him.

I wish they could figure out how to keep them both at the top of the order, Meidroth could be a nice 2 hitter ahead of Mune and Vargas
