Do you think this team would be anywhere close to leading a division with another manager? Or anyone who was available when we hired Will? I'm not needling you, honest question.

I just know Grifol would have this team in the cellar with KC.

Don’t know. I think from an overall perspective, where the team is at, he’s done a fantastic job. I didn’t say he’s a terrible manager. And I’m not telling anyone else how to feel, simply saying I myself have lost a lot of respect for him. I simply don’t agree with his baseball decisions. He’s been incredibly “stubborn” on the PCA topic, when it’s so obvious you walk him, I’m not a fan of the regular bunting he does, and when he calls for it, and him not knowing how many mound visits had been made a few weeks ago certainly didn’t help my opinion of him.

406? Lmao. It didn't even land in the bleachers.

I'm pretty sure all managers do dumb s%*# that pisses their fans off. There's 162 games in a season. Good luck being perfect.

C’mon man, that is an obvious call. Worry more about the MVP of the NL right now.

Braden is bailing like crazy up there

He's looking for the splitter. He's so late on the fastball.

In what way?

Walking PCA last night was so incredibly obvious. He also should have been walked this last inning, ultimately that’s what happened, but he should have never been pitched to with a base open. And Will defended his decision last night after the game, and today. He’s simply wrong.

The way he’s going and this wind, he’s extremely dangerous

Three homers in 1 1/3 games is Barry Bondesque.

He’s a good clubhouse guy, bad with strategy.

This is a fair take. I've been scratching my head at some of this s%*#, too. Just hope he can be more like Ben Johnson and learn from his mistakes and try to be better. So many managers in MLB are soooo stubborn.

Those were not major league swings

brother that was way back.

Haha, no shot.

59 pitches through 3, tie game. I’ll take that.

I worry at Montgomerys swing path on both sides. It’s so flat.

Will is also very stubborn on splits regardless of the players involved.

The bigger issue to me is the asinine decision to start pitching Taylor so many pitches. This team is lacking so much depth now, and him only being available half the games is gonna make it hard. A lot of this goes back to the terrible deadline. I blame the pitching issues on Getz and Bannister, not Will.

I do find it encouraging that he has some of the most patient PAs even if the results aren't always there. He's at least taking walks. That's very encouraging for a rookie. Hopefully the extra base hits come later.

The Antonacci s%*# drives me nuts when he is the motor of this team along with Chase. But that at least looks like its subsiding.

I don’t see a long term starting outfielder without major changes

He wasn’t playing well enough early on against LHP to play more. Problem is now they have three below average outfielders against LHP.

Feel like we haven't had a hitter with the pure power and strength like Mune since Slugger Jim.

Managers can certainly evolve too, hope he does. Like last night, Rodgers came up after the walk, think it was the 7th or 8th. Dude is batting like .190. That’s a spot where it makes sense to lay down a bunt, move the runner over. But I guess that wasn’t a good time to bunt according to Will, so Rodgers swung away and…grounded into a DP. It’s just stuff like that which irritates me, especially someone like myself who did a book report in high school on “Weaver Knows Strategy”

Old Earl would be spinning in his grave 😂
