He kinda looks like a position player on the mound. Hell of a performance!

What do we have to lose letting Sandlin and Thorpe have a chance in the rotation? If they get lit up, who gives a s%*#.

Score some runs. Call up somebody to start the game. Whatever the outcome, the abuse of the bullpen and reluctance to bring up ANYBODY to help them out is just negligent at this point. Thorp, Smith l,

  • Fegan is great. With that said, a lot of excuses by Bannister.

Let him finish it. Contact has been weak.

f*** it, give him the 9th

I know they aren't going to but they really, really should. He's dealing and Cubs will be happy to see anyone but him.

Just let Urquidy finish it. This has the vibes where the Cubs will be happy that anybody but Urquidy is pitching.

Yup, if he lets anyone on, bring in Grant. But until then, let him pitch.

Wouldn't even mind Urquidy staying in until he allows a baserunner

I'd let Urquidy start the 9th (and hopefully finish). He still seems strong and it would be nice to give the Taylor the day off with a day game tomorrow.

He kinda just stands there looking like he's confused why he's there until the pitch clock starts winding down.

Gotta let Urquidy finish his masterpiece

Only reason I say no is Taylor hit him hard, and then you have PCA up anyways. If they can score 3 against Taylor in these conditions, tip your cap

Holy Urquidy..........I have been busy with work and just checked the score and box score and my guy Jose is rolling!!!!!

Give him the damn 9th inning and rest the Damn bullpen!!!

Uqruidy > Gausman

Two more Sox runs would be nice here.

What a lift it be would if Urquidy can keep this going the rest of the year as a starter.

This

Hopefully Venable goes against his instinct to overmanage

Our hitters shouldn’t be allowed to challenge this inning

Bunt

Is there enough season left for him to enter the Cy Young race?

Fantastic outing. I would probably let him have the 9th, but good either way. I think the Sox found a new starter.

Send em out there for the 9th!

From the look of him on the bench, he seems to have the 9th.

Put up another 2 or 3 against this dork.

Let’s see if Venable has learned anything .Maybe not. No Bunt, no steal, but at least no double play.

Adding on here would make the call to keep Ur-K-dy in easier
