and that's a 9 over .500 season high buried the Twins WHITE SOX WINNER

Featured Replies

Your first place Chicago White Sox came into Minnesota clearly understanding the assignment, and win a well pitched game 2 to secure the series.

72-63 sets a new high water mark of 9 games over .500. Their current W4 is the longest active streak in the AL.

They lead the season series 6-3, and need just 1 more win in the remaining 4 games to clinch the tiebreaker.

Huddy recorded a save on back to back days, first Sox to do so this season.

Sox are 7-3 in the last 10 games where Fedde has pitched 3+ innings.

Miggy has a 15 game on base streak. Newcomb has a 13.2 inning scoreless streak. Both are the 3rd longest active.

Benintendi recorded all 3 of the Sox hits today, including a go ahead HR. He's 5-8 with 4 RBI in the series so far.

Today was so fucking massive for letting the bullpen get some rest. Will pay off big. Now if Martin can come back and be an asset that is huge. Would love for him to be first half Martin, but I'll tak

  • I haven’t watched every pitch this season, but…Sean Newcomb should seemingly have like an 8 WAR, because I don’t know where this team would be without him this year. Just a fantastic signing (I’m sure

How about a long series? I want to hear you say it, damnit. Make no small plans!!!

I like what happened in 2005 going 11-1, obviously everyone of them a short series.

There you go....I like your thinking. I think they might have to take a different path though because I don't see many complete games from this pitching staff. cool

No doubt a different time and place, a complete game is almost an impossibility these days. Only 18 so far this year in MLB and I’m surprised there have been that many.

We have 0 this year. I rewatched some of the highlights of the 2005 ALCS and every Sox starter besides Buehrle threw more than 115 pitches to get the complete games that series. You're just not gonna see usage like that in today's game.

It's not often you win a game getting only three hits but they found a way.

Big win given that Cleveland already leads K.C. 2-0.

What they did in that ALCS will truly never be repeated.

They’ve won 11 of 12 not sure challenging their effort is viable.

It's a day to day league.

Also have to give Fedde credit for hanging in there.

Really not often when the 3 hits come from only 1 guy.

They’ve lazied their way to a 2-2 tie.

My research from last Sunday had shown that since late April the Sox were 14-7 in games that Fedde pitched 3 of more innings . So now it's 15-7

KC tied it up and still threatening, still time for them to stay hot and win a series.

I'm not gonna lie, a 4 1/2 game lead would be sweet.

89.8% playoff odds now on FG.

GIVE ME 10!!! SWEEP THE FUCKING CENTRAL BOYS AND GIRLS!!!!

10 more wins for a winning season.

Which would be 5 in the loss column and then an extra game if they take just 1 in Cleveland with a tiebreaker.

Royals take a 3-2 lead and load the bases with no outs

Royals have bases loaded nobody out

We were down in the low 70s just last week. This 4 game winning streak has done a lot for the FG algorithm.

Ramirez making errors. They are rattled.

We're gonna need Josh Rojas to come thru for us.
