Good news is that if the Guards lose, magic number will be down to 20. Magic number could be down to 17 as soon as Saturday morning.

I don't think you could have made a worse trade at the deadline than Getz with Castillo. He's pitched out of the 5th just once. Every other time he's been god damn terrible. And you gave up an actual prospect for him and you're on the hook for $25 million.

Yet people also excused it because he was unloading Dominguez, a FA signing of his that was a massive bust.

As said before there was no reason to give up that real prospect....Seattle was trying to get rid of Castillo...if you had to give up a throw in how about someone not tearing the cover off of the ball. Taking the whole contract and giving more??
