this team needs a good veteran leader so bad, someone like Abreu, I just don't know who they could pick up because it would cost you a lot and I'm not sure anyone that good and respectable is even available

There is zero evidence Abreu was a good leader.

The lack of adjustments by Will along with no sense of urgency is exasperating. Not moving Mune out of the second spot is managerial malpractice. Also don’t like to hit the strikeout prone Montgomer

  • Urquidy being used in mop up duty now...lol. Honestly Urquidy is probably better than Castillo at this point.

not an acceptable excuse since they all play 162 but it also reveals a poor farm system, he was once in charge of that

Too late.

We got Flim Pham Man.

Like I said, he’s lost a lot of goodwill with his deadline. If they don’t make the postseason, not really sure he’s done anything to prove he’s actually good at his job

Vargas and crochet trade alone earns him a lot of goodwill.

I’m not sure if Jose Abreu was that much of a leader, he sure as hell didn’t get through to Moncada, TA, Eloy and Robert.

6-3

Thank you Blue Jays.

Were all good Pham

He wasn't. This has been established. Benni is a pretty damn good leader based on everything we have heard. Same with Vargas. This is just not 2005. Leaders like AJ don't really exist

wouldn't be surprised if Mune is playing with an oblique injury, that would definitely explain the messed up swing

Teel was the center piece and not sure what they have now...Meidroth has been most valuable clearly but 125 k's?

He's also just not hitting the ball with the authority he used to when he seldomly does make contact.

Were all gonna be on suicide watch if this offense keeps up like this against MIN PIT and STL.

Man, it is tiring to keep reading the words:

"Braden Montgomery grounds out...."

Gonna have to wait and make sure Braden is actually good and Teel can stay healthy before I give him a ton of credit for trading a top pitcher in baseball with lots of control

The sad part is that Houston's pitching is right in line with those teams and we've scored a grand total of 10 runs against them in a 4 game series.

Just an insane amount of weak contact this series

Bluballs pitching for the Ass-tros

pretty sure with his interpreter he would have said something by now because pretty much the entire Japanese media is wondering what's wrong

Two pitches, two outs lol

Meidroth has been great this year. Too early to tell on Montgomery. Teel's year has been a debacle due to injuries. Return much better than the Sale trade IMO. Think these players are only going to get better. Also don't mind the K's. In general, K's are a lot less of a taboo then they used to be.

We should have tagged him with a loss yesterday. He really didn't have it.

Didn’t Crochet only have 2 years of control left when that trade was made?

I don’t think he would be playing with an oblique injury.
