This is on Venable though. Had he pulled Kay when he was struggling in the 5th before that 3 run home run, Sox would most probably have won this game. You're not gonna score 7 runs every game, putting

  • Burke pushed back a game. I bet this is done to set up the Guardians series.

  • Mune is going to have a multi homer game tonight!

You’re getting no or very inconsistent production from 5-6 spots right now.

So again saying most of the offense is not hitting

Grichuk just hammers lefties

Mune striking out kinda killed this rally though

Come on Colson!

2-1 pitch was perfect for him

they’re choking so hard

Brutal.

Colson got 2 good pitches to hit and missed both.

They will be saying how amazing he looks cause the pop up homer

Why even have Mune in the lineup. It serves no purpose. Put Vargas back at first and Colson at third.

Colson has to lay off those high fast balls.

Just can't get any sustained rallies going cause this team just has not been hitting.

Still proving me right unfortunately that it the offense is killing this team more then the pitching. Including today last 8 games had 22 runs scored combined. 3 before that was 28. Offense needs was more consistency to go any further

You aren't going to win a lot of games giving up 6 runs

Colson needs to learn to lay off the high fastballs

Pham is going to save the day.

Must be nice to get 2 scoreless innings from your deadline guys. Minter has been amazing

Would have rather he bat against Minter than Mune

Blue Jays are about to take over the last wild card spot.

And having pitchers gifted 3 runs in the first and shitting the bed giving up 5 before 5 innings pitched

You mean other GM’s don’t trade nice prospects for projects at the deadline to help them win the division?

Can’t have Acuna at SS, Meidroth at SS, Ant at 2B and Pham or Grichuk in LF.

Not scoring 2 in the 9th

Three up and three down seems reasonable.

Overall yes, but Kay has been absolutely brutal in like inning 4 and 5 lately.

With their schedule, it will be shocking if they don’t make it
