No we expected them to go for decent players. Not ones who are DFA quality players. They would have been better off just not doing anything. The amount of water carrying for this front office is strange.

Yeah but the Cubs made "good moves" and it still didnt fix their ass pitching staff. The trade deadline isn't the place to turn a .500 team into a .525 team. Or in the Cubs case, a bad pitching staff into a good one.
