Yesterday at 05:09 AM1 day Daniel Lynch the last 7 games29 IP, 25 H, 15 ER, 9 BB, 15 SO, 4.66 ERAHe did just shut out Houston for 5 innings. He typically doesn't go more than 5 innings so hopefully we can jump on them a bit and make them keep using that bullpen

Lugo and Dobnak have been awful in their recent starts.

Sox lost both games and totally fizzed.WIll anybody pick up on the historical significance of this series? Is it 1967 revisited?Sad I can only log in at the library. I've basically taken a year off the board with no way to log on. That said I love this team. The grinders never give up. I even like Muni despite the BA near .200 now. Fave player is Banana Man tho. I like Meidroth a lot and Antonucci. And Vargas is simply amazing. This team has done so well with one of the worst pitching staffs in Sox history. I'm thinking in this era of lift and pull u really don't need dominant pitchers. Guys who are trying to hit it out at all times sometimes frankly miss on the launch angle and the quality of pitch really doesn't matter. How many batting practice homers are missed off fat pitches? Plus, the scenario was 4 teams fighting for just one AL spot in the playoffs.

I don't think the division leaders or those who clinched a playoff are going to not put their best out there. Some of these games are a post season dress rehearsal.
