Obviously easier said than done with the value/scarcity of SP’s, but sure would be nice to acquire/spend $ on proven SP’s AND have a dominant pen. That 4 inning save was stellar....it also might have gassed him. Taylor gave up some long outs in game 2 and well he looked awful today.

October 9Oct 9 They'd better package him for a bag of baseballs and sushi pops. There needs to be upgrades

October 9Oct 9 Another issue they will have to navigate is none of the young guys built up their innings total. Gonna be a lot of restrictions once again next year.

October 9Oct 9 They're gonna have to look at addition by subtraction. Might need to sacrifice some of the young ones for upgrade of they have to trade but it's unfortunately not likely

This has happened a few times this year. The guy has electric stuff, he can look unhittable one game, then a few nights later look like he belongs in single A trying to figure out what the hell to do.

Too much at stake to play a guy just for money. If the Sox were losing 90 games, different story, who cares.
