Mike North is basically mentally handicapped.

Sports radio producer doesn't pay well today I'd imagine. If Parkins gets let go at Fox and gets an offer to come back at the Score, I bet He'd want Shane back and Shane would come back.

The Score is such complete garbage right now. No humor at all. Parkins was on Rahimi and Grote and he ripped into the morning show because they had a guy call in from jail and they didn't do anything funny with the call. They took his opinion and just said bye. Far cry from what it used to be.

If Danny Parkins was the big savior, he wouldn’t have been booted from his big show on FS1 in less than 11 months. They are stuck paying him a multi-year deal so they repurposed him. Let’s be honest, all of these guys are simply dime a dozen talents. Riordan was out of work for a year and had to get his restaurant manager gig from a friend in the business even though he had no experience outside of his cooking hobby.

So in other words, being a steakhouse manager takes no industry expertise whatsoever. Learned something new..

Riordan is buddies with chef/owner Joe Flamm who gave Riordan the job. Riordan was out of work for a year so he probably felt bad for his friend.

Says the guy who had to move to podcasting because he ran his mouth and pissed off numerous people to finally lose his radio job. I am no fan of Schriffen but Bernstein saying this is ridiculous. In consecutive sentences, Bernstein calls Schriffen an asshole and then says he has never met him. 🤣

EDIT: I looked at the comments on this video after I made this post and Bernstein was shredded by most of them.

Naw. He’s just a little bit dingy. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

"Parkins, 38, sold his Wilmette home for $925,000 and moved with his family to the biggest market. The cancellation won’t cost him his job, not yet, but Fox still must pay $37.5 million this season to Tom Brady and $375 million through his 10th year.

Sorry. Parkins is the latest talented soul to grab the big biscuit and watch his career take a hit. The people who run FS1 don’t understand that he went to Syracuse, worked in Kansas City and began at The Score in Chicago, raising money for charities via radiothons. Colin Cowherd liked him and showcased him to the bosses. Unfortunately, he was hired by a lead dude, Charlie Dixon, who lost his job because he was accused of harassing women on his staff. This is where Eric Shanks, as the CEO and executive producer of Fox Sports, does not do his job. He let Dixon ruin livelihoods after less than 11 months."

"A former Fox Sports reporter and anchor filed a lawsuit Friday against the network and top executive Charlie Dixon, saying he sexually assaulted her after coaxing her up to his hotel room to discuss Super Bowl plans in 2016 and was later pushed out of her job for fighting back.

Julie Stewart-Binks said in her complaint, filed in Los Angeles county superior court, that she was inspired to speak up after a former hairstylist for Fox Sports filed a lawsuit on 5 January saying a former host had made repeated unwanted sexual advances toward her and that Dixon had groped her."

No, he has an 80 IQ, tops.

I listen almost exclusively to the radio team and Len and DJ are outstanding imo.

Aside from me not having CHSN and needing to listen to the radio, Kasper and DJ are the reason why I listen to the radio. I muted Schriffen when they were on TV and turned the radio on.

If I were Boyer I would cast a decently wide net and consider the play by play voice Sox fans need to hear. And come up with a successor to Stone when he’s ready to go.

Not many make it going national in sports talk. Parkins also has a face for radio. But compared to what The Score has now? He is on another level compared to them. I don't think he's a generational talent or anything, but the Score is just that bad. I think he's easily be the best sports radio host in the city if he came back.

I wasn’t going to say it, but seriously, what was FOX thinking with that one? 🤣

Yes, he was the best of the bunch but if Leila Rahimi can have a radio job, anyone can. Regardless, Parkins was wise to grab the cash with how flaky the radio industry is.

He needs to start bone smashing to make that chin bigger! It's non-existent.

Where’s @Clavicular when you need him?

If you rarely watched the sox broadcast then how can you know what was talked about on the broadcast? Not trying to be jerk just trying to understand the logic here.

I might spend 10 minutes at the most. It was different with Benetti but this goes even back to Hawk. Plus the opposing broadcast was very complimentary this season. They post stats, ect about a Sox player you rarely get with the local broadcast. Far more educational.

LOL do people actually listen to Bernstein? I enjoyed his rants during the TLR era but for a long time he and Boers would insult callers or go off topic.

Not sure since he’s doing a podcast now.

Jay Mariotti and Hawk as my next nomination.

Hiney birds!!!
