For me it has to be Louis XIV "Finding Out True Love Is Blind"

 

HOLY GOD is that one baaaaaaaaaaad. It has the 3 main components of a real stinker:

 

1.) Dumb lyrics

2.) Uninspired musical arrangment

3.) Horrendously voiced lead singer. Just a awful voice, AWFUL.

Worst song I've heard lately is that "this fire is out of control" song - Franz Ferdinand, maybe? or Modest Mouse? I never hear who it is, because I'm usually in the s***ter puking my guts out 30 seconds after it comes on.

Agreed. That one was pretty awful. Although the CD as a whole had a few pretty decent songs on it.

Anything by Hilary Duff or Ashlee Simpson. They both need to find something else to do because they have no talent.

Just wanted to say HI from my alternate universe.

The title song from American idiot is the only song I've heard off it that I like.

Six Feet Under has a new album out called "Graveyard Classics II" and it is a follow-up to their "Graveyard Classics" album that was all cover tunes. The only difference this time out is that they chose to rerecord all of AC/DC's "Back In Black", but in the same ol' lovely SFU Death Metal style. Musically it is O.K., vocally it is so damn bad that it ruins the whole thing. I like some Death Metal vocals, but Chris is just painfully boring. Terrible album. I had to listen to the original last night just to put things right!

 

Other than that, I agree with that damn Ashlee Simpson song that she warbled at the Orange Bowl, and I am just talking about the song, period.

 

I like "American Idiot" the song, it's the rest of the album that lacks any form of originality at all, and that shamelessly rips off more bands than I care to mention, and does so blatantly.

I seem to have a curve with U2 songs. Slow to like, then I like them for a while, then all of a sudden it's :puke

 

It could be that every song they do immediately goes into heavy rotation.

Actually it was italian I believe. I still like what I've heard from this album.... but then again after listening to the Pop album, its hard not to feel every other song they did was grammy worthy.

Hmm, I actually like American Idiot....thought it was quite original in the lyrical sense.

 

As for one of those songs I've heard lately that is horrid, I'd have to go with this Tim McGraw/Nelly crossover s***, whatever you wanna call it, its bad.
