It's a tough choice, as there aren't many players on the current roster, that I'd like to see leave.

Gold - Frank

Silver - Buerhle

Bronze - Shingo/Paulie (tie)

1st - Mark Buerhle for obvious reasons. The guy's just such a great asset for this team to have.

2nd - Damaso Marte. Ever since he came over from Pittsburgh, I'd love the way he'd attack hitters with that 98MPH fastball of his. A damn good relief pitcher (top 5 lefty) when at his best.

3rd - Aaron Rowand. Just a hard worker who's going to deserve everything that comes good to him in the future.

Rowand!!!

Buehrle is my current choice. McCarthy will take over once he reaches the bigs. Other favorites are Gload, Uribe, and Timo.

1- Frank ties Mark. Frank generates more excitement than Mark at games. The crowd always gets into Frank's ABs. But over the course of a long season Mark is the best read.

 

2 - Shingo ties Marte. Shingo again is an adrenalin pump but so was Marte in 2003. I would love for them both to dominate in 2005.

 

3 - Rowand. With Lee gone Rowand is the man in the OF. But if the cards fall right he'll be tied with Pods by season end.

Shingo is my guy! A-Row and Frank tied for 2nd. Pk in 3rd.

This guy is just such a great pitcher and he is such a fun guy.

Gotta go with Frank, he's been here ever since I started liking the Sox in 1992. Kinda funny how 4 of them are here now, but the other 3 are now coaches.
