Sox @ Rangers -- 5/29/05

That a boy Jermaine, stayed right on the ball, didn't fly open and delivers the breaking ball into left field, nice piece of hitting.

DEAD IS ALIVE!

Dye has a lot more flexibility in his swing. Earlier this year, he was standing straight up when he would swing, and had no chance at the low, outside pitch.

At least they are making Ho throw a lot of pitches.

Park will definitely walk some batters if we stop swinging at every low pitch he throws. His control was what got him in trouble in the first at the Cell a few weeks ago.

The low outside breaking ball has been the problem for most of our right handed hitters this year. That's what happens when you're cheating and your hips fly open to try and pull the ball.

Dye running...

Rowand K's. :puke

Sox catch a break, arow strikes out but Barajas throws the ball into center.

Back to taking strikes, and swinging at balls.

Crede up? I will call inning over right now.

Rowand got a raw deal on that last pitch, I think that was a BB.

Looked like a strike to me, jmo.

Does Crede have a different stance today?

?? Looked to be right down the plate to me. Rowand obviously wasn't looking for the curve.

Nice K, Cruddy. You suck.

It's Joe Randa time.

looks like he's opened up....but obviously gets the same result as always :headshake :puke

What a terrible offense. I swear, all you have to do is get two strikes on our hitters, and they'll chase anything within a few feet of the plate if you throw an offspeed pitch.

That was a good pitch by Chan Ho right there. Going to the bottom of the 2nd.

It's Joe Randa time.

Please... and soon. I can't stand watching this scrub anymore.

I cant see the game, but it appears even if he did, he got the same result.

For f*** sake all you have to do is throw this team a breaking ball. Dye, Crede, Everett (well him a changeup) and your gonna have an easy time pitching around these guys.

Pathetic. Kenny may not be able to wait to long if Minny gets closer, its becoming glaringly obvious that this team needs about two more good hitters (I'm hoping one of those will be Juan Uribe finding his stroke) and than of course the addition of the Big Hurt and Gload.

Still, two weeks from now if Crede is still sucking, Kenny needs to make a move. This team is playing for the now, and Crede ain't going to be around in the future anyway.

60% of this lineups approach is swing as if its a fastball 100% of the time.

What is everyon'es obsession with Randa? Has he done anything spectacular since the calendar turned to May?

I read that they are on pace to end up with the lowest walk total on the season since 1984. Obviously, Frank will help them a bit in that stat.

No, if it wasn't for Randa's great first week, he'd have worse numbers than Crede.

Look at his stats and then look at f***ing Cruddy's.

He doesn't do anything spectacular he's just a good, solid, professional hitter. Joe will hit .270 and will get the big knock when you need him to.
